News : International Conference on Education, Psychology and Social Sciences 2016

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 August 2016 – Universiti Kuala Lumpur Business School became the host to the International Conference on Education, Psychology and Social Sciences 2016 (ICEPS 2016).  This collaborative international conference is co-hosted by UniKL Business School together with National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taiwan and involves a number of universities from UK, Europe, Indian Sub-continent and Asia.


Held at the UniKL City Campus, ICEPS 2016 allows members from academia and industries to share and discuss their thoughts, knowledge and expertise for the advancement in the field of education, psychology, and social science. These fields have become more sophisticated and interacted and ICEPS 2016 provides a platform for participants to share their experiences, research studies and explore innovative solutions through joint research.


In his welcoming speech, Prof Dr Ibrahim Kamal Abdul Rahman, Dean of UniKL Business School expressed his delight on the organisation of ICEPS 2016. "We have more than 70 papers coming just from this conference from various universities, both locals and foreign. This is particularly important as we move towards becoming one of the best universities in Asia by 2020," he says.



Meanwhile, Prof. Dr Khairanum Subari, UniKL Deputy President, (Student Development & Campus Lifestyle) says, "This collaborative international conference involving a number of universities from UK, Europe and Asia aims to build a platform and avenue for a dynamic discussion of various education and social science fields; Having said that, I truly believe this conference will serve as a stepping stone for UniKL to be more active in the world of academia in terms of scientific publications and outputs."
