The core functions of CITC are as follows:
  1. Formulating policies and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) related to Teaching and Learning
  2. Planning, managing and coordinating the Professional Development Training Programmes to enhance the competencies of Academic Staff
  3. Monitoring the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and continual Quality Improvement activities
  4. Promoting and monitoring innovative Teaching and Learning approaches and techniques such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach, E-Learning and other student-centred approaches to learning.
  5. Planning, managing and coordinating the development and the review of curriculums to ensure continuous relevancy to the needs of the industry and which are in accordance with MQA and other professional bodies' requirements.
  6. Assisting academic staff from all campuses in ensuring that students' soft skills and psychomotor skills are embedded in their teaching & learning and assessed accordingly.

  2. Curriculum Review Committee Workshops for Entrepreneurial and Mathematics subjects.
  3. Campus Engagement Meetings.
  4. New Programme Development Committee Meeting.
  5. Coordination meeting for new initiatives such as industrialmanship and modular approach curriculum delivery.
  6. Formulation of Teaching and Learning Policy and Procedure.
